We are most like Jesus when we serve.

Serving is a Next Step in our faith of trusting that God has given each of us gifts and talents that will minister to and influence others. 

Serving is one of the best ways to foster an attitude like Jesus, as we are most like Jesus when we serve.

God has called us to a service far beyond anything we can ever imagine. Being a follower of Jesus means that we move from being a consumer to being a contributor.

We move beyond simply eating, breathing, and taking up space! We move toward adding to life on Earth. In other words, God desires for us to give something back. He wants us to do “good works.”

As followers of Jesus, whenever we serve others in any way, we are actually serving God and fulfilling one of the purposes God designed us for. God has a special place to serve Him. He has a ministry for you in his Church and a mission for you in the world. This Next Step is our way of getting on the blessing of being a blessing. It is also a wonderful way to connect with others as they also serve.

Take this Next Step as a way to start moving beyond yourself and into God’s plans and purposes.
