What to do in solitude: (From the teaching)
Identify a time and place to be alone with God.
Listen to God through scripture and listen for His whisper in
silence.
Pray scripture to pray for God’s will.
Pray the way Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:9-13.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Example Prayer: Father, I need the courage to choose to come to You to find rest. May I give up my way of life and embrace Jesus' way of life so I can learn from Him. Thank you for being gentle and humble. I trust that you will give me rest for my soul. I trust that your way of life is truly easy and that following you is not a burden.
