Hey Westside KiDS parents,
Have your kiddos been jumping for joy because God’s way is perfect? Maybe they are getting ready to run the big race? We love seeing their excitement and growth each week.
Grade School:
You did it!! Our grade-schoolers have been hard at work on their Memory Verse Challenge. In fact, they have filled their challenge jar with marbles! Do you know what that means? PIE IN THE FACE! That’s right! This week we will be celebrating their crazy memorizing skills by pieing Mrs. Lori and Mr. Kayden in the face during the 9:30 and 11:00 am services. We are so very proud of our KIDS! A new Memory Verse Challenge begins this week!
5th Grade Parents:
This week, our 5th-grade KiDS will be starting their journey of becoming a youth member! During the 9:30 service, our outgoing 5th graders will be sitting in on The Loft Middle School's large group time. You will drop your kiddo off as normal in the Landing. They will be escorted to the Loft by their small group leader to experience the Loft’s large group time. Our 5th graders will then rejoin KiDS in the Landing to finish service where you will pick them up as normal.
KiDS and Lil Gig FX:
The countdown to KiDS Gig FX has begun! 2 MORE WEEKS!!! Are you ready to Press Play?! Registration for this summer's KiDS GiG FX is now open (Click here to register: https://wfclv.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/263/responses/new)! This year's KiDS GIg will look a little different than in years past. Join us every Tuesday night in June as we help your kiddos to Press Play on their faith and they learn who they are in Christ.
We loved watching your kiddos jump, jump, jump, run into this month's themes! Each week the KiDS Team is striving to make church a place that is fun, safe, where your kiddos can know that they are seen and loved by us and God.
Our Early Childhood Little's theme for Jump, Jump! They will be jumping for joy and learning God's way is perfect. Who's way is perfect? God's way is perfect!
This month the Grade Schooler's theme is 5K: Run the Race. Growing in faith is not something that happens by merely cramming more information about the Bible into a child’s brain. All of that knowledge in their head means nothing if we don’t help kids experience what that knowledge can do in their hearts. To fully experience faith, we want kids to practice their faith. And that takes commitment.
