Service and Ministry’s Schedule
We will have all three services this weekend at 8:15, 9:30, and 11:00am. We will have Early Childhood ministries (6-weeks old to Pre-K) open for all services.
There will be no Grade School, Middle or High School ministry this Sunday. We will have them in the Community Room with the rest of the church family.
This Sunday is Communion Sunday and we look forward for our families having communion together. It will be a special day!
We are partnering with these local middle schools to supply their food pantry with items kids may take home to have dinner or weekend meals.

Are you interested in supporting kids in foster care, or want to but don’t know where to start? Join us as we interview a panel of foster care parents from our church family. You will hear their stories and discover ways to support foster families. This will also help those who are interested in becoming a foster family.
Connect with the largest network of caring people to take action and meet the needs of local foster kids and foster families.
Jesus told relevant stories to share kingdom truths. We will use million dollar stories to share timeless kingdom truths— so invite your friends and family to join you on site or online. Build relationships with your neighborhood and host a Driveway Movie Night. Reserve your Movie Night Kit below. We are on mission together loving Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and sharing Jesus in our neighborhoods. We want to empower you to be on this mission to B.L.E.S.S. your neighbors by throwing a Driveway Movie Night.
Why host a Driveway Movie Night? One reason, to build relationships with your neighbors and create the opportunity to eat together and get to know one another’s story. This is also a great way to listen to their story and learn how you can pray for them. You may even have the chance to share Jesus by praying with a neighbor during your Driveway Movie Night!

Join us for services on Memorial Day Weekend. We will have regularly scheduled services at with limited ministry environments.
We will only have Early Childhood services at 9:30 & 11:00am. There will be no Grade School services, Middle School Services, or High School Underground on this Sunday. Your KiDS and students will join the service in the community room as we continue our series, Unshakeable Kingdom.

Identify a time and place to be alone with God.
Listen to God through scripture and listen for His whisper in

Example Prayer: Father, I need the courage to choose to come to You to find rest. May I give up my way of life and embrace Jesus' way of life so I can learn from Him. Thank you for being gentle and humble. I trust that you will give me rest for my soul. I trust that your way of life is truly easy and that following you is not a burden.

We will honor our military families who are moving to their new installation by thanking them and praying for them during all of our services.
We will serve dinner to all of our active duty families. If you are active duty, RSVP below. If you want to help us serve them, sign-up to bring a dish.
Bring mom and we all will help honor her. We will also have a photo booth!

We want to thank all of our Military Families for making Westside Family Church their home church while they are stationed at Fort Leavenworth. We know that many of our military families are moving soon and we want to come alongside you to support you, if you are moving.
We also want to invite you to join us for Sending Sunday and I want to invite you into being one of our "Military on Mission."
We want to invite you to attend our Sending Sunday. During each of our three services on May 22, we will be honoring all of our military families who will be moving. Please let us know if you will be moving and if you can or cannot attend our Sending Sunday using the form below. We will take 7 minutes in the service to acknowledge you, pray for you, and send you off with a small token as a gift.
I want to invite you to become one of our Military on Mission. We have dozens of Military on Mission families around the world right now and we'd love to include you in this group of people on mission with us. A Military on Mission is someone who will commit to these three things:
Live out this mission of loving Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and sharing Jesus wherever you go to BLESS others.
Be a point of contact wherever you are stationed.
Allow us to support you however we can for as long as you allow.

A night of worship and prayer with all the churches in Leavenworth and Lansing who are participating in One with us.
Will you set aside 10-15 minutes on Tuesday, April 5 to pray for our cities?
Our building will be open from 6am to 7pm for anyone who would like to have a space to pray in our Community Room.
We will join families from churches in Leavenworth County for a united Easter egg hunt. There will be inflatables, candy, and games.
Egg Hunt begins at 3:15pm.

On January 10, 2016, we had our un-official, but official service as Westside Family Church Leavenworth. One of our leaders sent me this pic on Tuesday, as it popped up on his phone. I couldn't help but reflect and be grateful for those who helped us prepare for that day, showed up on that day, and have been on mission together with us since that day.
Thank you for being one of the hundreds of people who have been on mission together with us, loving Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and sharing Jesus in Leavenworth County!
Last week, our teaching ended talking about baptism. If this is your next step of following Jesus, we'd love to help you take that next step.
I want to encourage our ladies to come to our Fearless Women's Conference. The cost is only $20 and includes your Chick-Fil-A lunch. We are grateful for the tribe of women who are rising up to live fearless.
Scholarships are available for those in need. Please reply to this email if you are in need of a scholarship or know someone who is.
We want to encourage you to stay home if you are feeling unwell or are showing symptoms of flu or Covid-19. Please continue to keep the health of our church family in mind as we are together on Sundays.

We are about halfway through our 22 Days of Fasting. We are continuing to ask God:
"Where are you at work in me and how can I join you there?" and
"Where are you at work around me and how can I join You there?"
We believe that God will do something great in you and we believe God will show you where God is working around you as we continue to pursue His will together.
